LAKE ARIEL, Pa. (AP) - Authorities in northeastern Pennsylvania say a man shot a horned bull after it rammed him in the ribs, knocking him to the ground.
Jefferson Township Ambulance Capt. Jerry Dennis told The (Scranton) Times-Tribune (https://bit.ly/1jIQbjp) that the 43-year-old Wayne County man, whose name was not released, was hospitalized with “serious injuries” after the incident Monday afternoon.
The man was working on a property in Lake Township when he was rammed by the bull, which came from an adjacent farm.
Dennis said he didn’t know if the bull survived the shooting.
