SALINA, Kan. (AP) - Salina police are looking for about 140 guns, 10 knives and several rounds of ammunition stolen from a sporting goods store.

Police Capt. Mike Sweeney says the theft occurred sometime over the weekend of April 12-14 at Cleve’s Marine & Sporting Goods store.

KSAL reports (https://bit.ly/1hIthdC ) the thieves apparently entered through a garage door and then disabled the building’s alarm system.

Sweeney says store employees were still taking inventory Tuesday but he estimated a total loss of at least $50,000.
