TIOGA, N.D. (AP) - Officials say testing has determined that the general water supply in Tioga has not been contaminated, though they’re still determining whether chemicals might have been introduced into an apartment complex’s water system to thaw water lines.
City Commissioner Nathan Germundson tells the Minot Daily News (https://bit.ly/QnauJ9 ) that the three six-plexes remain isolated from the municipal water supply. The 20 residents are staying at hotels or with friends or family while state health officials investigate.
The Tioga Medical Center says at least three apartment complex residents have been tested for possible poisoning but no one has been admitted.
