WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, W.Va. (AP) - Tennis Hall of Famer Peter Sampras has been named tennis pro emeritus at The Greenbrier.
The southeast West Virginia resort announced Sampras’ appointment on Monday in a news release. Sampras is the resort’s first tennis pro emeritus.
Sampras has played in The Greenbrier Champions Tennis Classic for the past two years.
Sampras won 14th Grand Slam singles championships.
