SPRINGFIELD, Ore. (AP) - Springfield fire and police investigators and the Lane County medical examiner’s office are looking into the cause of a fire that killed a woman at a Springfield motel.
Police say three other people in the room escaped the fire unhurt out a rear window.
The Register-Guard reports (https://bit.ly/1m2sAO2 ) the room was fully involved in flames when firefighters arrived about 12:49 a.m. Sunday. They found the woman’s body in the bedroom.
