Man gets life for killing wife, father-in-law

PANAMA CITY, Fla. (AP) - A Florida Panhandle man has been sentenced to life in prison for killing his wife and father-in-law.

As part of a deal with Bay County prosecutors, 51-year-old Bryan Keith Castleman pleaded no contest Monday to two counts of second-degree murder.

Prosecutors say Castleman killed 48-year-old Mary Ann Castleman and her father, 64-year-old Leroy Minnich, at their home in November 2012.

The Panama City News Herald (https://goo.gl/RV9rMa ) reports that Castleman repeatedly beat both victims with a hammer and stabbed them multiple times. He then took their money and used it to buy crack and video games.
