NORCROSS, Ga. (AP) - Police in metro Atlanta are investigating after a man was found shot dead behind a complex of townhomes in Gwinnett County.
WSB-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1eDAqpL ) residents called police to the Bradford Gwinnett Townhomes after hearing gunshots at about 11:30 p.m. Sunday. Police say a neighbor found one person dead at the edge of the woods behind the homes.
Police did not immediately release the name of the victim so that the man’s relatives could be notified first.
Police were speaking to potential witnesses early Monday. Some neighbors reported seeing several cars speed from the area after the shooting.
