PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) - Gasoline prices in Rhode Island are up a cent from last week, and are now the same as a month ago.

AAA Southern New England’s latest price survey, released Monday, found the average cost of a gallon of self-serve regular in the state is $3.60.

The current Rhode Island average is four cents lower than the national per-gallon average of $3.64.

Rhode Islanders were paying a penny more per gallon a year ago at this time.

This week’s AAA survey found a 26-cent range in prices, from a low of $3.49 to a high of $3.79.
