WORCESTER, Mass. (AP) - Police are looking for a motorist who struck and killed an 83-year-old man in Worcester.

The Telegram reports (https://bit.ly/1kMreHB ) that the unidentified man was fatally struck at about 3 a.m. Saturday. Authorities are withholding his name until family members are notified.

Police in the region are looking for the vehicle that struck and killed the man as he was crossing a street near the rest home where he lived.



He died at UMass Memorial Medical Center.

Police are searching for a 2002 to 2007 Dodge Caravan or Chrysler Town and Country believed to have struck the man.
