DURHAM, N.H. (AP) - More than 50 students from around New England heard from experts and practiced their sales pitches at a competition at the University of New Hampshire.
The university’s Sales Center of Excellence and its student-run sales club hosted Saturday’s competition, which came with a $1,000 prize. The students had 10 minutes each to try to convince judges that they had come up with the best digital marketing strategy for a fictitious sports apparel company.
More than 20 executives from a variety of corporations judged the students’ sales pitches and offered advice on everything from corporate etiquette to building a personal brand.
