PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Police have arrested a suspect in the shooting of an 11-year-old and are looking for his older brother.

Last Sunday, Philadelphia police say 25-year-old Marcellus Temple and his younger brother fired over a dozen shots into a crowd, striking the boy in the hip as he played basketball with friends.

Temple is still being sought but his 16-year-old brother was arrested Friday morning. His name hasn’t been released because of his age.

Police said the 16-year-old suspect had been beaten up by four men and returned to the area with his brother seeking revenge, wildly opening fire on the block and striking 11-year-old Kashia Crawford.

Kashia underwent emergency surgery and remains hospitalized but is expected to recover.
