MEDFORD, Ore. (AP) - Some students on their way to school Thursday saw the body of a man who apparently committed suicide by hanging himself from a tree across the street from North Medford High School.
Before the body could be removed by police, officials say it was seen by some Kennedy Elementary School students walking by and on a bus. It was also seen by some high school students.
The schools say students who appeared to be upset talked to counselors or support specialists.
The Mail Tribune reports (https://bit.ly/1qFEU4x ) the elementary school sent a note home to parents about the situation.
