SAUCIER, Miss. (AP) - Harrison County coroner Gary Hargrove said 63-year-old Arthur Barnes Jr., of Saucier, died from head trauma after being ejected from his SUV in a two-car accident on Mississippi 67.
Mississippi Highway Patrol Lt. Johnny Poulos tells The Sun Herald (https://bit.ly/1jxL99n) the accident occurred about 6 a.m. Thursday. He says the two vehicles were southbound on Mississippi 67 south of Saucier when the second vehicle rear-ended Barnes’ SUV, causing it to leave the road, roll several times and eject Barnes. Poulos said Barnes was not wearing a seat belt. The driver of the second vehicle was not injured.
