PHOENIX (AP) - Authorities are investigating a double shooting in a Phoenix restaurant parking lot that has left one man dead.

Phoenix police announced Friday that 38-year-old James Finn has died from his wounds.

They say a 50-year-old man also was shot, but his injuries aren’t life threatening.

Police say the shootings occurred around midnight Thursday.

A witness told police that two men were walking to a business when a car drove up and someone inside asked the men if one of them was “Ohio.”

Police say Finn identified himself as “Ohio” and walked up to the car.

A witness says a man got out of the car and shot Finn and the 50-year-old man.

Police say the shooter left in a gray car, but they haven’t released a description of the suspect.
