TOLEDO, Ohio (AP) - A Toledo man has been charged in the slaying of his ex-wife whose body was found in a running vehicle parked in a field.
Ronald Boaston appeared in court Friday where a judge ordered that he be held on a $1 million bond.
He’s accused of strangling his former wife at his home in February.
The Blade newspaper (https://bit.ly/1kd66Yf ) in Toledo reports that Boaston’s family members denied he killed his former wife. His attorney declined to comment Friday.
Hunters found the body of 28-year-old Brandi Gonyer-Boaston in a Fulton County field.
The Blade reports that Boaston and his former wife divorced in 2006 and had two children together.
