HARLEYVILLE, S.C. (AP) - Dorchester County deputies say they have a suspect in the killing of a 31-year-old man found dead in a mobile home off a dirt road near Harleyville.
Authorities said Mark Daniel Sr. of St. George was shot to death Friday morning.
Deputies say a suspect was taken into custody, but did not release the person’s name or any charges.
Investigators are still trying to figure out what led to the killing.
The only other homicide so far this year in Dorchester happened at the Lieber Correctional Institution near Ridgeville.
