GAINESVILLE, Ga. (AP) - Brenau University officials say the school is hosting a research symposium that is free and open to the public.

Officials say the interdisciplinary forum will highlight the university’s graduate, undergraduate and faculty research Friday from 12:30 to 5 p.m.

Officials say Centers for Disease Control and Prevention public health consultant Phaedra Corso will deliver a keynote speech during the event.

Organizers of the event say the forum will close with faculty grant recipients discussing their projects and progress.
