CUT OFF, La. (AP) - Lafourche Parish sheriff’s deputies say two bank tellers in Cut Off have been arrested after they allegedly admitted to stealing money from their employer.

The Daily Comet reports (https://bit.ly/1kd8UES ) 30-year-old Tabatha Allemand, of Raceland, and 51-year-old Tammy Price, of Galliano, were both booked with felony theft. They were taken to the parish jail and were both released on a $10,000 bond.

Deputies say the two women were arrested Thursday. They say the women confessed to bank managers that they had taken money from their teller drawers for personal use on multiple occasions.

It was unclear whether Allemand and Price have attorneys.
