OLD BRIDGE, N.J. (AP) - Authorities say a woman was killed when her car was rear-ended by a tractor-trailer on a central New Jersey highway.
But it’s not yet known what caused the accident, which occurred around 12:30 p.m. Monday in a southbound lane of Route 9 in Old Bridge.
Acting Middlesex County Prosecutor Andrew Carey says 50-year-old Heidi Bennett of Freehold was killed in the crash. But her cause of death has not yet been determined.
