FERRISBURGH, Vt. (AP) - A 17-year-old motorist has suffered multiple injuries after his car collided with a tree in Ferrisburgh.
Vermont State Police say Stephen Lowry was driving on Shellhouse Mountain Road just after 6 p.m. Monday when his station wagon went off the road and struck the tree, trapping him inside. His hometown was not immediately known.
Lowry was freed from the vehicle by members of the Ferrisburgh Fire Department and taken to a hospital for treatment.
An investigation is continuing.
