OPELIKA, Ala. (AP) - Authorities in Lee County were searching for a suspect after a Monday night police pursuit.
The Opelika-Auburn News reports (https://bit.ly/1dNodDL) that Lee County sheriff’s deputies were still seeking the suspect Monday night.
Lee County Sheriff Jay Jones said deputies responded to a domestic violence call around 5 p.m. Monday, and the suspect fled the premises. A pursuit began when deputies tried to stop the suspect, but they later called off the chase.
After a car accident later, the suspect fled on foot and units with a canine tried to find the person.
The suspect had not been located as of Monday night.
