PHOENIX (AP) - A northeastern Arizona man faces a life term in prison after being sentenced on convictions for molesting children.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office says U.S. District Judge Stephen McNamee sentenced 61-year-old Billy C. Young of Kayenta on Monday.

A jury convicted Young on Jan. 15 on two counts of aggravated sexual abuse of a minor, one count of sexual abuse, and one count of sexual abuse of a minor.

Prosecutors said trial evidence showed Young molested three different girls over a 25-year period.
