Police arrested two men in the fatal stabbing of a man wearing Dodgers gear near San Francisco’s AT&T Park after the Giants’ 6-4 win over the Dodgers, the Associated Press reported.
San Francisco Police Chief Greg Suhr did not provide additional details about the arrests, other than that they were men. The victim was 24-year-old Jonathan Denver.
It was not clear whether the victim’s Dodgers clothing played a role in the attack, AP reported.
Giants’ spokeswoman Staci Slaughter issued a statement emphasizing that the stabbing took place several blocks away from the stadium, the report said.
