Six people, including two children, were killed Saturday night in a head-on collision in McKean County, Pa., local media reported.
A Jeep Liberty carrying four passengers was traveling south on Route 219 at Mead Run Road when it crossed the double yellow lines and struck a Pontiac Bonneville also carrying four passengers.
Two passengers of the Jeep, ages 6 and 12, were pronounced dead at the scene. The driver, Kathy Douglas, 36, and a 10-year-old were flown to trauma centers, the station reported.
All occupants of the Pontiac — Gary Beimel, 62, David Cuneo, 54, Elaine Beimel, 55, and Florence Donachy, 81 — were pronounced dead at the scene, the report said.
The crash is still under investigation.
