Lady Gaga will become the first artist to sing in outer space after she boards a Virgin Galactic ship in 2015, Us Weekly first reported.
The award-winning singer will perform a single track on the third day of the Zero G Colony high-tech musical festival at Spaceport America in New Mexico.
“She has to do a month of vocal training because of the atmosphere,” a source told Us Weekly.
Gaga’s trip will be approximately six months after the first Virgin Galactic commercial flight. Other stars who have signed up for a space trip via Richard Branson’s Virgin include Leonardo DiCaprio, Justin Bieber, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie and Ashton Kutcher, the New York Post reported.
