A Woodbridge teenager was hit by a police car while crossing the street, Prince William County police said Monday.
Officials said the incident occurred at about 1 a.m. Saturday in the area of Minnieville Road and Spriggs Road, when a 15-year-old boy was struck by a marked police car heading northbound on Minnieville Road.
The teen was walking in an unlit area of the street, outside of the crosswalk. He was flown to a hospital with injuries not considered to be life-threatening.
The officer was not injured. No charges have been filed.
