Four people were injured late Monday afternoon at LaGuardia Airport in New York when the nose landing gear collapsed on a Southwest Airlines Boeing 737, according to the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey, which operates the airport.

Flight 345 was arriving from Nashville, Tenn.

Several ambulances were called to the scene of the accident, and both of the airport’s runways were closed, PIX11 reported.



The extent of the injuries is not yet known.
