The lawyers for a 400-pound Egyptian inmate at Guantanamo Bay had their request rejected for a court to get involved with his medical handling.

According to a recently released ruling in Miami, Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly determined that Tarek El-Sawah’s needs were being met by the military and that a minimum threshold necessary for the court to intervene had not been reached.

The lawyers for El-Sawah, an obese man with lung and heart problems, argued that the military was not addressing his health issues adequately, the Military Times reported.
