The Washington Redskins blew a 15-point lead against the St. Louis Rams on Sunday afternoon, but they had a chance to tie the game in the closing moments. However, what could’ve been a 47-yard field goal attempt turned into a 62-yarder when Joshua Morgan was flagged for an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty after throwing the ball at Cortland Finnegan after a tackle. Billy Cundiff’s kick was short and the Redskins came up short in their 31-28 loss.
Robert Griffin III threw for 206 yards with a touchdown and an interception, and he also rushed for two scores on 82 yards.Â
