One man was fatally stabbed in Southeast D.C. overnight and police have arrested another man in connection with the attack.
The stabbing occurred around 8 p.m. near the intersection of 30th Street and Naylor Road in Southeast, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.
Darnell Maurice Howard, 36, of Southeast was taken to a hospital where he died from his injuries.
Samuel Nelson, 27, of Southwest was taken into custody shortly after the incident and charged with murder two while armed, police said.
