I would love to be proud of my president, but I cannot be. President Obama continues to show nothing but anger toward me and those who believe as I do. I am a Christian, a conservative and a patriot.

When he speaks, he always speaks down to at least one of those categories. In any speech I have ever heard him give, he never tries to bring Americans together; he always wants to divide us in some way. I have never heard a patriotic song sung at any event he has attended. Usually, it is some type of music that his audience can dance to, not music meant to bring everyone together.

Every time Mr. Obama speaks, he needs to remember he is speaking for all Americans, not just those from whom he wants to obtain future votes. I pray every day to be able to show respect and honor to the person who holds the office of the president of the United States, but today I cannot, because the man who holds that office does not want or care about my respect. When he starts showing me respect, I will reciprocate.
