I am deeply distressed that the International Olympic Committee has refused to honor the Israeli athletes murdered at the 1972 Munich Olympics with a minute of silence at this year’s games.

The murder of those athletes was a terrible atrocity perpetrated by terrorists against the Olympic Games, Israel, the Jewish people and the free world. The international Olympics, which supports peaceful coexistence in our world, should take a minute to honor those killed and to remember.
