D.C. police on Friday identified a 32-year-old man who was found fatally shot in Southeast on Thursday morning.
Officers responded around 7 a.m. to the 800 block of Burns Street Southeast for a report of a man down, a Metropolitan Police Department spokesman said.
Ricardo Mandrell Lancaster of Fort Washington was found suffering from a gunshot wound inside a vehicle. Mr. Lancaster was found behind the wheel of the vehicle, police said.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
