Adele wins 5 Grammys, including record of the year

LOS ANGELES (AP) - Adele is on a winning streak.

She’s won five Grammys so far, and is still up for the top prize, album of the year.

Adele’s No. 1 hit “Rolling In the Deep” won record and song of the year, her other No. 1 hit “Someone Like You” won best pop solo performance, and her album “21” won best pop vocal album. “Rolling In the Deep” also won best short form music video.

The British singer gave the thumps up when accepting the record of the year honor, and also said: “This is ridiculous.”

Adele’s five wins matches Foo Fighters for most wins so far Sunday night. They both are up for album of the year.
