P.G. woman found dead in her apartment

Police in Prince George’s County are investigating the slaying of a woman in her District Heights home.

Officers responded to the apartment of 32-year-old Raquel Israel on Wedensday morning after someone called to ask if police could check on the woman’s welfare. Ms. Israel was found dead in the bedroom of her apartment, located in the 2100 block of Brooks Drive.

Police did not provide information about the woman’s cause of death.
