NEW YORK (AP) - Hannibal Lecter won’t go quietly.

Producers of a musical theater parody of the film “Silence of the Lambs” said Tuesday that they have found a new home for the now-closed show and plan an open-ended run.

A version of “Silence! The Musical” will open at P.S. 122 starting Oct. 25. The intermission will be scrapped and some scenes and songs will be trimmed. The full cast will be announced later.

The show, with dancing lambs and serial killers, first made a splash in 2005, winning best musical at the New York Fringe Festival. It returned to New York this July at Theatre 80 after a London engagement.

It has a book by Hunter Bell (“title of show”) and music and lyrics by Jon and Al Kaplan.
