Man killed in P.G. hit and run

A unidentified male was killed early Sunday morning in a hit-and-run accident in College Park, according to Prince George’s County police.

The incident occurred at about 3:25 a.m. on University Boulevard, near Route 1, said police spokesman Cpl. Larry Johnson.

Investigators are looking for a red Honda with damage to the front driver’s side, including a missing side-view mirror.

The vehicle was last scene going west on University Boulevard toward Adelphi Road.

Police said the victim, who was pronounced dead at the scene, was not a University of Maryland student.
