Subways service in Baltimore was temporarily suspended at all underground Metro stations due to reports of a gas odor, Maryland official said Monday afternoon.
Service was suspended at about 11:15 a.m., then reopened at 1:36 p.m.
The cause is being investigated by the Baltimore City Fire Department and Baltimore Gas and Electric. Bus bridges have been established between the closed stations, and regular service will resume once the source of the smell is located, and the stations are deemed safe.
