A Riverdale teen is being charged with second-degree murder after police said he ran a man over in a Jeep near Upshur Park in Northwest D.C.
Christian Navarette-Rivas, 16, was arrested Thursday and will be presented in D.C. Superior Court Friday, a Metropolitan Police Department spokesman said.
Police think Mr. Navarette-Rivas intentionally struck 22-year-old Miguel Angel Drullard Jr. of Northwest, with the Jeep on Oct. 6.
Officials responded to the 4400 block of 14th Street, Northwest around 3:50 p.m. that day for a report of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle that left the scene.
Drullard died from his injuries at a hospital.
