In Week 11, the Washington Redskins fell to the Dallas Cowboys in overtime 27-24. The sixth loss in a row dropped Washington to 3-7 on the year. Unlike the many of the previous losses during this streak, however, the offense was able to move the ball more consistently: Rex Grossman threw for 289 yards, two touchdowns and an interception, Jabar Gaffney had a TD and over 100 yards receiving, while Donte Stallworth had a clutch game-tying score to send the game to overtime with 14 seconds remaining in regulation. But with a chance to win the game in OT, Graham Gano missed the field goal, and the Cowboys capitalized on the ensuing drive with the game-winning field goal of their own.
