Montgomery County Police on Friday identified the victim of a fatal stabbing at a Rockville house and the man charged with killing him.
Police say Carlos Tiul, 29, was charged Thursday with first-degree murder in connection with the death of Tomas Mo-Choc, 27, of the 14100 block of Travilah Road.
Tiul, whose address was not known, was ordered held without bond.
Officers responded at about 9:32 p.m. Wednesday to the Travilah Road address for a report of a stabbing. They found Mr. Mo-Choc inside the residence suffering from an apparent stab wound to the chest. Mr. Mo-Choc died shortly after officers arrived.
Police say Tiul and Mo-Choc became involved in a dispute. The dispute escalated, and Tiul attacked Mo-Choc. Tiul fled before officers arrived. He was located nearby and arrested.
