A 34-year-old man was killed when he was hit by a car while attempting to cross a street in Seat Pleasant early Saturday, Prince George’s County police say.

The man, who has not been identified, was attempting to cross Addison Road South when he was hit at about 4:40 a.m. He was not in a crosswalk or an intersection.

Police said a car traveling northbound struck the man and continued on without stopping.
