Two people were fatally shot Sunday in Prince George’s County — a man delivering a pizza in the Seat Pleasant area and another man at a Capitol Heights gas station, according to police.
The first incident occurred about 8:30 p.m. when a Domino’s delivery man was shot in the 8600 block of Seat Pleasant Drive. The unidentified man was taken to a hospital and died. A county police department spokesman said Monday morning that robbery appears the likely motive.
The second shooting occurred about 3:30 p.m. at a Shell gas station, near Central Avenue and Ritchie Road. Police said several people witnessed the shooting, but no arrest has been made.
The county now unofficially has had 24 killings this year.
