There’s a war raging in the post-Christian West over whether men and women are different.

In Britain, a devout Christian couple with a sterling record of foster care was disqualified recently from adopting because of their “homophobic” views.

At Rutgers University in the fall, some 18- and 19-year-old men and women will be allowed to share dorm rooms and shower rooms, a phenomenon already present on other campuses.

In Maryland, what some call “gay marriage” is about to become state law, when in fact, sexuality is not mentioned in the current statute, which reads: “Only a marriage between a man and a woman is valid in this State.”

Last year, Federal Judge Vaughn Walker decreed in Perry v. Schwarzenegger that it is a “foregone notion that men and women fulfill different roles in civic life.”

It makes sense that the decline in Christian worship coincides with such foolishness. After all, if God did not dictate the separation of men and women as a prescription for holiness, then on what solid, moral footing may one refute the argument that males and females are the same?
