Wintry road conditions close schools in D.C. area

WASHINGTON (AP) — Wet and slushy road conditions have led to a number school closures in the Washington region.

Schools in Montgomery, Prince George’s, Frederick, Carroll, Washington, Allegany and Howard counties in Maryland are closed Wednesday.

In Virginia, schools in Fairfax, Loudoun and Prince William counties are closed. Manassas City and Manassas Park City schools are also closed.
