American citizens throughout this nation are not obligated by the U.S. Constitution to bail out the profligate spending of out-of-control governments in states such as California or New York. Let those states either file for bankruptcy if legal or cut spending if not.

The notion that a taxpayer in our federalist system should provide federal taxes to bail out state, county or city government in any of the other states is preposterous on its face.
