Most memorable house: I had a client who wanted a home in an affluent area but couldn’t quite afford a home there. I worked with our Gold Services manager and searched for properties for my client. It was the end of the year, and I found a bank-owned property. After extensive negotiations, the bank agreed to lower the price, and my buyer, with the help of the lender, was able to purchase a beautiful home in the area he wanted.
Worst experience buying or selling a house: It was my first listing, and as it turned out, the prospective buyer was trying to buy the home illegitimately. When I discovered this, I immediately notified my seller and the settlement attorney. As a result, we negotiated a significant settlement for my seller, and I sold the house, full price, to a real buyer.
