Gov. Martin O’Malley said Wednesday that he has appointed Frank Michael Kratovil Jr. to the District Court for Queen Anne’s County.
Mr. Kratovil, a Democrat, will fill the vacancy created by the retirement of Judge John T. Clark III.
Mr. Kratovil served as state’s attorney in Queen Anne’s from 2002 to 2009. He left after being elected to serve a term in the U.S. House of Representatives.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Kratovil served as an assistant state’s attorney in Queen Anne’s and Prince George’s counties. He graduated from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 1994.
