FORESTVILLE, Md. — Two lanes of the outer loop of the Capital Beltway in Prince George’s County have reopened following a fatal multi-vehicle accident.

Prince George’s County fire department spokesman Mark Brady says two people died in the accident Tuesday morning, and two others have been taken to a hospital with injuries that are serious but not life-threatening.

The accident happened near Ritchie Marlboro Road.



The inner loop of the beltway and two lanes of the outer loop remain closed in the area.
