LETTER TO THE EDITOR: Supercommittee lacks women

OPINION:

Not only is the supercommittee short on talent, but only one woman has been named to it (“Supercommittee is short on dealmakers, compromisers,” Web, Thursday). Last time I checked, 51 percent of the electorate was female. It’s unconscionable that only one woman will serve on the Gang of 12.
